The 48 HFP 2011 @ Delhi – September 2011
The 48-Hour Film Project, commonly known as “48 HFP”, is a global franchise. It is a concept in which every participating team makes a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours. Each team is given a genre, a character, a theme and it has to make the film and submit it in exactly 48 hours. The winners are announced and the films are screened in a short span from the day of submission. In 2010, nearly 40,000 filmmakers made 3,000 films in 80 cities on five continents.
Filmbooth collaborated with the India chapter of the 48-HFP 2011 in hosting the event in New Delhi for the first time. The event kicked off on 2nd September 2011 and the awards ceremony & film screenings were held on 18th September 2011.
